Meet Renae

Hi friends! Renae here with a little insight into who I am as a stylist and salon owner.

I’ve been a hair + makeup pro for over 20 years now, and I love it even more today than I ever have. My journey has been a real adventure and I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything.

My favorite career experiences so far have been

  • working on set with celebrities and musicians

  • styling hair backstage at the Ryman

  • creating runway hair behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week

  • being published in magazines like Nylon (when it was still a print mag, RIP!)

  • traveling for work to amazing places like Maui, Los Angeles, and NYC

  • learning from the best in the biz (see: Jen Atkin, Tracey Cunningham, Anh Co Tran, and Johnny Ramirez).

All this while I owned Lucy Pop Salon in Nashville from 2010 to 2019. As a salon owner, I love developing the business, growing my team through education, and creative collaborations with other like minded people. I've learned that I am happiest working in the salon with my clients every day, and providing an inspiring atmosphere where stylists can grow their businesses to the next level.

That's why in April 2018, I opened Love 30A in Seagrove Beach, Florida. I’ve always dreamed of living and working in a laid-back beach town, and I hope you get the chance to visit us here!

Nowadays, I live in the Seagrove Beach area of 30A where I see clients full time at Love 30A, and I travel monthly to Nashville for existing clients. My specialties are luxury, low-maintenance hair, hand tied extensions, lived-in-color for blondes and blondettes (brunettes with blonde tendencies), and modern shag haircuts. I live for a good transformation, so if you’re ready for a new look, I’m your girl!
